This milestone was made possible in particular through the commitment of Arthur Werner Stähli, the father, father-in-law and grandfather. He helped the young couple Peter and Gisela Wüthrich take the step into self-employment.

The starting point was the takeover and renaming of Rowe Schliffe to P. Wüthrich Schleiftechnik AG. In a small workshop next to their home, Peter and Gisela Wüthrich began grinding workpieces. Three conventional Tschudin machines and one Voumard formed the beginning. These are still in the plant today and continue to serve well.

The company celebrated this significant anniversary with a company trip by boat to Murten and a relaxed meal together with valued employees. Wüthrich AG extends its sincere thanks to all those who have helped make this family business what it is today, something that can rightly be regarded with pride.
